How old do I have to be?

Do I need to have played soccer?

No. Some of our best referees never played competitively.

How much does it cost?

USSF certification is currently around $80. TRG offers reimbursement programs for new referees — ask us.

When can I start?

Certifications run year-round. Most new refs are on the pitch within 4–6 weeks.

How much can I earn?

Match fees typically range from $35 to $150+ depending on level. Many refs work 2–6 matches a weekend.

What if I've been away from refereeing?

We love returners. We'll get you re-certified, matched with a mentor, and back on the pitch quickly.
